Ashley Shutes was convicted of 1st Degree Murder with and sentenced to 15 years to life. She is eligible for release in 2031.

She killed him with her SUV after an argument, he defended her to the end, refusing to say what happened as he was dying, which is part of the reason he's dead. Police action on prior incidents would have kept him alive.

    She is a real nut case. Why wasn't she even let out on the streets after she almost killed her first 2 kids father? She is a real basket case and I hope her children are somewhere happy and enjoying life without any contact with this lady.
