Domestic Violence is a very real threat to your safety. Any occurrences should be addressed immediately. If you are being abused, get out quickly.
Her appeal (see link) includes:
On October 18, 2014, Mendoza was driving on I-15 with the victim, Tawnee Baird. When a physical fight erupted between the two, Mendoza allegedly drew her knife from her pocket and began stabbing Tawnee repeatedly in the neck, face, and chest, causing her death. Mendoza then drove to a church in Ogden where she called her sister and allegedly told her that she had just killed Tawnee. Mendoza's sister called the police, who responded to the church. Mendoza was interviewed and, after being given Miranda warnings, allegedly admitted to repeatedly stabbing Tawnee.

At the end of the day, if you do not
learn SOMETHING from this, you never will.
Im just seeing this episode, and I feel like the asshole deserved it and she seemed like a hardworking beautiful person that met a loser. And you all that believe tv and are doubting this woman's storyof what the judicial system did to her mom, can shove it up your a**. You guys obviously don't have any kind of experience with being blamed or know anyone who has been blamed for anything lawfully. Thank you for sharing something so personal that the world is judgement on without knowing you or your mom's life and struggle with this situation. Be blessed.
ReplyDeleteWhat?
DeleteWhat on earth are you talking about?
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to know the victim, the murderer, or be judgemental to know you do not stab anyone over 20 times, no matter what they did to you mentally. The logical thing to do is to leave. I say this as person who has not had an easy life. I heard the phone call. She has to pay for what she did. It was overkill and unnecessary. A toxic relationship doesn't justify murder.
ReplyDeleteSimple.
I don’t understand how you can judge and speak on this situation especially since you don’t know anyone in this situation you have no clue what v has been through in her life and you are exactly right that her actions weren’t okay and there is no excuse but don’t pass your judgment on her!!! And I don’t know what u have been through in your life but don’t speak on domestic violence like you know how to avoid or control dv encounters I can speak first hand as a victim and as the abuser that it’s not as easy as people like u think to get away from that toxic relationship!!!!!! Victoria I have your back girl !!!!! It’s a tragic sad situation that involved two beautiful people but we can go back so let’s move forward !!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteYour mental!
DeleteYep she's mental...maybe she's being soft on her bc she's pretty which isn't right. I'm just trying to think of any reason she would justify this girl's actions. There is nothing in this world that would make it OK to stab someone over n over n over or to even stab someone at all. NO REASON ON EARTH WOULD MAKE THAT OK.
