Stella Maudine Nickell, Bad Medicine

In season 2, episode 8, one sees the murder of Bruce Nickell, Sue Snow by Stella Maudine Nickell in Washington. The show is titled Bad Medicine and Discovery ID describes it as, “Stella Nickell plants cyanide-laced capsules on drug store shelves; a woman suffocates her children; known as the "Angel of Death," Beverley Allitt murders four children.”

Stella wanted to collect on her husband's life insurance policy. She implicated herself when

she insisted he did not die of natural causes to gain the double indemnity clause. She was convicted under federal law and is the reason why it is impossible to open a bottle of OTC Meds without a knife or scissors.

Stella Maudine Nickell was convicted of Death by Tampering, 2 counts and sentenced to 90 years.
