Lan Anh Le Scorned

In season 8, episode 16, the murder of Monica Anderson by Lan Anh Le is shown. The show is titled Scorned and Discovery ID's Deadly Women describes it as When these brokenhearted women get dumped, they take the ultimate revenge..

Lan Anh Le was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to 25 years to life. 

After a tumultuous relationship, when given a second chance, she killed Monica killed over a phone charger.
Her appeal includes (see link): Early on a March morning in 2010 defendant stabbed her girlfriend, Anderson, and was subsequently charged with murder and personal use of a knife. Prior to trial, defendant was found to be mentally incompetent under section 1368 and was committed to Napa State Hospital. Seven months later, following a two-day hearing, the trial court determined defendant was competent to stand trial. A jury trial followed. Since defendant challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to support her conviction, we provide a detailed description of the evidence presented at trial.

The show is titled DIY Burial and Discovery ID's Deadly Women describes as An aspiring Olympic equestrian finds a solution to her financial woes; a young divorcee decides to get rid of her ex-husband for good; a greedy woman sets her eyes on a wealthy widower for her next victim.. Patricia Silberstein was Convicted of 1st Degree Murder with and sentenced to 22 years, 7 months, and 6 days. Later, she is given a 15-year sentence, which she serves, and dies three years after her release. This crime occurred in 1977, she is released 1991 and dies in 1994. At the end of the day, if you do not learn that murder is never the answer from this, you never will.

Sylvia Seegrist, Twisted Minds

In season 2, episode 6, one sees the murder three people, and the wounding of 7 others by Sylvia Seegrist in Pennsylvania. The show is titled Twisted Minds and Discovery ID describes it as, “In Pennsylvania, a mentally disturbed woman opens fire on shoppers at a mall; depression drives a woman to smother her children to death; a Florida nurse murders 12 nursing home residents” She was found guilty but insane at the time of her trial. She suffered from schizophrenia from an early age and had been sexually abused by her grandfather. Sylvia Seegrist was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences and seven consecutive 10-year terms. She is not eligible for parole.
