Obviously, the murder of Latanya is the worst thing in this case, however a close second was her parent's response to her murder charge. They insisted she was innocent, despite overwhelming evidence, which divided the church he pastored. A parent's first instinct is to protect their child, however there are times when being honest is the best path. Clearly Jennifer suffered from impulse control issues and needed help. To insist she is innocent, is to enable very bad behavior. Thankfully, she is not eligible for release. She shot Latanya six times in the head because she meant to kill. There is no official organization supporting her claims of innocence.
