In season 8, episode 2, the murder of Judy Hebert by Tashia Stuart and Todd David Stuart is shown. Tashia Stuart was convicted of murder and sentenced to 45 years in prison. She is eligible for release. Todd David Stuart was charged with first degree murder but acquitted in 2011 and walked free.

The motive for this murder was money. Her mother had suspicions they were trying to kill her and shared her concerns with others.

Patricia Silberstein was Convicted of 1st Degree Murder with and sentenced to 22 years, 7 months, and 6 days. Later, she is given a 15-year sentence, which she serves, and dies three years after her release. This crime occurred in 1977, she is released 1991 and dies in 1994. At the end of the day, if you do not learn that murder is never the answer from this, you never will.

Sylvia Seegrist, Twisted Minds

In season 2, episode 6, one sees the murder three people, and the wounding of 7 others by Sylvia Seegrist in Pennsylvania. The show is titled Twisted Minds and Discovery ID describes it as, “In Pennsylvania, a mentally disturbed woman opens fire on shoppers at a mall; depression drives a woman to smother her children to death; a Florida nurse murders 12 nursing home residents” She was found guilty but insane at the time of her trial. She suffered from schizophrenia from an early age and had been sexually abused by her grandfather. Sylvia Seegrist was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences and seven consecutive 10-year terms. She is not eligible for parole.
