Katrina Sarkissian was never tried because she committed suicide by taking an overdose the following day.

Katrina Sarkissian was taken into custody the morning after Maran was fatally stabbed at a party at a Westwood home. Sarkissian was being questioned by LAPD when she passed out and was pronounced dead later that day. According the an autopsy, Sarkissian had overdosed on antidepressants prior to being questioned by police.

Her parents have started a foundation honoring her life called Deanna Maran Foundation for Non-Violence. The fight occurred because Deanna confronted Katrina over breaking some potted house plants at the house party the two had been attending.

At the end of the day, if you do not learn if your child is having mental health issues, it is not enough to put them on meds and turn them loose from this, you never will.

Patricia Silberstein was Convicted of 1st Degree Murder with and sentenced to 22 years, 7 months, and 6 days. Later, she is given a 15-year sentence, which she serves, and dies three years after her release. This crime occurred in 1977, she is released 1991 and dies in 1994. At the end of the day, if you do not learn that murder is never the answer from this, you never will.

Sarah Marie Johnson, Lethal Vengeance

In season 3, episode 12, one sees the murder of Diane and Alan Scott Johnson by Sarah Marie Johnson in Idaho. The show is titled Lethal Vengeance and Discovery ID describes it as, “When an insatiable quest for retribution grows out of proportion.” She was sentenced to two concurrent life terms plus fifteen years for a firearm enhancement. Sarah Marie Johnson was convicted of 2 counts of Murder and sentenced to 2 life sentences. She has no chance at parole.
