Elizabeth Haysom, Killer Kids

In season 5, episode 21, one sees the murder of Derek and Nancy Haysom by Elizabeth Haysom in Virginia. The show is titled Killer Kids and Discovery ID describes it as, “A parent's love may not be enough when teen rage takes over and turns deadly.”

Elizabeth has said in an interview, following allegations of new DNA evidence in the killings, "I am profoundly ashamed of my crime. It’s a horrific crime. I don’t like to talk about it. I don’t like being public entertainment. So I have been [mostly] silent" (read this interview here). Both have lied about this crime, which tarnishes their credibility, though Elizabeth maintains that sexual abuse by her mother was the motive for the murder.
