Darlie Routier, Kill Their Own

In season 5, episode 5, one sees the murder of Damon and his brother,Devin by Darlie Routier in Texas. The show is titled Kill Their Own and Discovery ID describes it as, “Convinced that all men cheat and lie, Susan Eubanks gets even with her ex-husbands - by killing her four sons in the same order in which they came into her life.”

This case is enough to make you lose your mind, depending on which way the producers of a documentary slant. She either looks innocent or guily beyond a doubt. She either didn't do it and someone set her up perfectly or she did, and did a really poor job of pulling it off. Her husband maintains she is innocent. Regardless, you can make up your own mind. I tend to think she's guilty because juries are queasy about the death penalty when there is moderate doubt. Her sentence has never been commuted.

Darlie Routier was convicted of Murder and sentenced to Death .

    1. She's waged quite the war on her case. It helps that she's a pretty white woman... She is probably due next to be executed. I trust the jury as I've done jury duty and sentencing someone to death is a HUGE deal. They would not have taken that lightly.

  2. Exactly! Zero evidence of intruder, motion lites not on, Domain was a barker, didn't bark til cops came, her knife, cleanup at sink, her changing stories, in letters from jail she named 2 men then cried on the stand when caught. Blood under glass & vacuum. Guilty!

  3. I think only her, those babies and God will ever know what happened and why. Anyone who can kill their own children is chilling beyond words.

    1. Exactly! Cold as ice. She was mad at Darin for losing her lifestyle, they had just gotten turned down for even a $5K for her to take a girls trip. Selfish and narcissistic. She knows her time is drawing near as does her mother, which is why she blew off publicly on fb Dr. Phils offer for world wide attention and any further testing in her daughters case.

  4. I have doubts about many that are convicted and sentenced to die are innocent. Or even sentenced to life for that matter. I used to believe, a life taken, a life to take. Strongly for the death penalty, But looking how prosecuters will flat out lie just for a conviction made me change my mind. Sure, it looks like Darlie is guilty. I remember seeing the silly string video for the first time on the news and it looked bad and how could anyone disagree with her guilt. But that was only a slight part of the video that was viewed. There was many hours of her grieving through that video and who's to say how a person grieves? If you look at the supposedly self inflicted video as the prosicuters put it, how can anyone know how to inflict wounds on the back of her elbows and arms like that. That is very good evidence she put up her arms to protect herself. Also the media wants a great story. They will go to any expense to get one. I DO NOT TRUST THEM. The Casey Anthony case. She was convicted before she hit the courtroom. But somehow she got off. What did the courtroom know that you and I did as observers? I was convinced she did it. Look at the Keven Greene case. Ex marine. was this any way to treat our proud and brave? He was found guilty and sentenced to life and spended 17 years of his life because his barely coherent wife identified him and stupid prosicuters. There was even a known serial killer in that neighborhood at that time. The bedroom basher. And who got the blame? The prosicuters even had someone else to look at. STILL after the DNA and serial killer evidence, prosecuters refused to exonerate him and wanted a confession in which they and Kevin were lucky to get. It is a fact that tramatized people cannot remember the facts too well. One jurer publicly appologized to Darlie because he didn't see 2 of the 100's of pictures he had to sort through that the prosicution presented. He then was convinced of her innocense. I'm not truly convinced either even with the first view of her video now. Only she knows for sure. I did see one of the statements she made and an innocent person would not say this. " The blood will be on their hands" meaning her execution by the system. Killers just don't make those type of statements.

    1. There weren't "no is and hours" of Darlie grieving on the Silly String tape. The tape is very short and shown in its entirety.
