According to UPI, " Authorities say the shooting death of a Grapevine woman was part of a bizarre plot by her granddaughter and another girl to kill both of their ex-boyfriends.". There s a petition to grant her freedom to the governor, however it has received zero signatures. Not surprising, fifteen years old is old enough to know that killing your mother is wrong and it was very premeditating.

As someone who has known all parties involved I have to say that Courtney got a rotten sentence for the crime she committed while under the influence of prescription drugs of which the FDA it self has now decided that it should not be prescribed to young people as it has been proven to cause homicidal and suicidal thoughts especially in the young.
ReplyDeleteI knew her grandmother as well and even she wouldn't want Courtney to spend the rest of her Adult life in a prison.
She would have said if she could to release Courtney as she has been a outstanding inmate plus not to mention she has been remorseful for her actions since the day of the murder.
Betty would want Courtney to be out of prison to try to move forward with her life with what is left of it.
At the end of day we all have to reflect on our actions and Courtney has and always will.
She won't be a repeat offender like some who have a revolving door to the system.
