Tonya Jane Tidwell

Tonya Tidwell was convicted of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated battery, for stabbing David Eric Guice, with others. Both of the other codefendants, plead guilty to murder. Tonya opted to go to trial.

The three smoked meth and marijuana before going to the victim's home to confront him about stolen property. They entered into the home while he was asleep and all three agreed Tonya struck the first blow. The drug use played a role in this murder.
