Shanita Latrice Cunningham

Shanita Latrice Cunningham is one of two women in prison for thebeating a toddler to death in South Carolina. They were charged with homicide through child abuse. The child peed on the floor which caused the women to beat her to death. One of the couple was her godmother and the other her romantic partner.  Cunningham had the decency to plead guilty to the charge and spare the family a trial. The child's family lived in Michigan. Enough money was raise to fly the little girl's body home to be buried there.

They became "internet famous" because of their dramatic reaction to sentencing. View the video below. She has had nine infractions since beginning her sentence at Leath, including being out of place, failure to obey, and trafficking among others.

In season 10, episode 10, the murder of Anthony "Tony" Wojcik by Patricia Silberstein is shown. The show is titled DIY Burial and Discovery ID's Deadly Women describes as An aspiring Olympic equestrian finds a solution to her financial woes; a young divorcee decides to get rid of her ex-husband for good; a greedy woman sets her eyes on a wealthy widower for her next victim.. Patricia Silberstein was Convicted of 1st Degree Murder with and sentenced to 22 years, 7 months, and 6 days. Later, she is given a 15-year sentence, which she serves, and dies three years after her release. This crime occurred in 1977, she is released 1991 and dies in 1994. At the end of the day, if you do not learn that murder is never the answer from this, you never will.

Sylvia Seegrist, Twisted Minds

In season 2, episode 6, one sees the murder three people, and the wounding of 7 others by Sylvia Seegrist in Pennsylvania. The show is titled Twisted Minds and Discovery ID describes it as, “In Pennsylvania, a mentally disturbed woman opens fire on shoppers at a mall; depression drives a woman to smother her children to death; a Florida nurse murders 12 nursing home residents” She was found guilty but insane at the time of her trial. She suffered from schizophrenia from an early age and had been sexually abused by her grandfather. Sylvia Seegrist was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences and seven consecutive 10-year terms. She is not eligible for parole.
