Stella Maudine Nickell, Bad Medicine

In season 2, episode 8, one sees the murder of Bruce Nickell, Sue Snow by Stella Maudine Nickell in Washington. The show is titled Bad Medicine and Discovery ID describes it as, “Stella Nickell plants cyanide-laced capsules on drug store shelves; a woman suffocates her children; known as the "Angel of Death," Beverley Allitt murders four children.” Stella wanted to collect on her husband's life insurance policy. She implicated herself when she insisted he did not die of natural causes to gain the double indemnity clause. She was convicted under federal law and is the reason why it is impossible to open a bottle of OTC Meds without a knife or scissors. In season 4, episode 3, one sees the murder of Jay Orbin by Marjorie Ann Orbin in Arizona. The show is titled Fortune Hunters and Discovery ID describes it as, “Deadly women who will do anything to satisfy their need for cash” Marjorie agreed to marry Jay because he lavished money and gifts on her for years, traveling across many states to watch her perform. He agreed to make sure she had a baby, which she did with great medical intervention. Rather then divorce, sharing custody and having less access to his money, she opted to kill and dismember him.Since being incarcerated, she has had 6 infractions, which means she's still about doing what she wants to do rather then following the rules we all live by. Larissa Schuster chose to take her case to trial, probably convinced no one would believe that she actually did it. The jury felt otherwise. She was convicted of first degree murder with special circumstances and was sentenced to life without parole. Her appeal includes: Schuster and Timothy separated acrimoniously in 2002.   For a while, they maintained separate living quarters in the family residence.   Schuster complained about this arrangement.   From the time of the separation on, Schuster also acted as if the house and business were hers, and she did not want Timothy to have custody of T., or a relationship with him.   She often said that she would like to see Timothy dead.
